6 Presenting vxVistA Open Source

7 vxVistA on Cache
Overview of vxVistA System Architecture with InterSystems Cache on Microsoft Windows
Currently vxVistA is commercially supported by only DSS, Inc. and their direct Partners on Windows Server 2003 and Windows Server 2008
Linux is a viable option for those companies that have in-house expertise with Linux and wish to utilize existing infrastructure and resources – though at this time there is no commercial support available for vxVistA on Linux.
We will be discussing Windows-based solutions today.
vxVistA may be adapted and supported for Linux and other platforms by community members in the future.

8 vxCPRS - Open Source Module
vxCPRS has been adapted from the VA developed Computerized Patient Record System. This tool pulls data from many different vxVistA packages into one user-friendly Graphical User Interface system that puts patient data including vitals, allergies, medications, laboratory results, orders, and progress notes right at a provider's finger tips for fast and easy review. Providers can enter new orders, notes, vitals, allergies, problems and more into the patient chart using features like quick orders, order sets, and templates. |

9 vxROI - vxCertified Module
This product closely resembles DSS VA Release of Information Manager that allows the Release of Information clerk to track and bill release requests as well as release medical information from the vxVistA database. |
