About This Activity

Lace up your running shoes and get ready for the Run Like a Warrior 5K on Saturday, March 4th, 2017 at 7:30am.  Proceeds benefit the Jupiter High School Boys and Girls Lacrosse teams.

This out and back race will begin and finish at Jupiter High School's state of the art track and turf field. Chipped timed finish is organized by AccuChip Timing. Awards will be given to the overall male/female winners and to the top three males/females in each age category.  The first 275 registered runners wil receive a short sleeve dry-fit shirt and goodie bag.

This year we are pleased to be supporting the Wounded Veterans Relief Fund with a donation of 10% of the net profit.  The mission of the WVRF is to ease the burdens of financial distress for post-9/11 Florida disabled veterans and their families, helping them transition back home in a productive, meaningful way.  For more information, please visit their website at

Event details and schedule


Please make sure you arrive in plenty of time to get checked in and get ready to run! The race will start and finish at Jupiter High School - 500 Military Trail, Jupiter, FL 33458.

Parking will be at the school, in the parking lots located near the football stadium.  The best entrance to parking is Daniel's Way off of Indiantown Rd.

Packet pick up - MARCH 3; Jupiter High School at Velocity Stadium; 4pm - 7pm

Course Info:

This 5K course begins in the parking lot of Jupiter High School, exits the parking lot to the south, proceeds west of the SIDEWALK located on the NORTH side of Toney Penna.  The course turns south and crosses Toney Penna Drive just west of the intersection of Toney Penna Drive and Pennock Lane, and the course proceeds south on the paved pathway located underneath the high-tension powerlines to the turnaround point, where it turns around and the re-traces its path back to Jupiter High School, re-crossing Toney Penna Drive just west of Pennock Lane and then follows the north sidewalk back into the parking lot of the school.  The course then finishes on the track on the north side of the Jupiter High School campus.
