Deanne has ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and loves the process of mapping current processes to vxVistA best practices. Deanne is excellent at serving as a bridge between technical/IT issues and challenges, configuration and development options, and clinician needs.Over the last 10 years at DSS, Deanne successfully oversaw development of multiple clinical and administrative software packages and modules as well as the integration of practice management/revenue cycle systems, medical decision support systems, laboratory systems, and medical devices within the VistA Electronic Health Records system in both the Veterans Affairs Medical Centers and commercial vxVistA installations. She works closely both with large teams and individuals to understand and analyze customer processes/regulatory requirements/specialized technical systems and communicates that understanding and analysis internally, with partner/client teams, and with the vxVistA Open Source community to create custom configurations, enhancements, and process changes over the life-cycle of each project. Her special areas of interest are in enhancing vxVistA to better serve women and pediatric patient populations.

Deciding to dedicate himself to Pharmacy Information Systems, Jay joined Cardinal Health/Pyxis Corp as aInterface/Application Engineer Interfacing with most pharmacy inpatient and outpatient vendors.

Joining VAMC Lexington Kentucky, as Pharmacy ADPAC and CPRS Trainer, which allowed expanding knowledge skills to Clinical Informatics, Data Mining with SQL Databases, Vista Fileman and end user Reporting Services.

His years with VA also included Extensive Clinical Data Extracts for Medical and Pharmacy Resident Projects, and a dedicated member of VAMC Pharmacy and Therapeutics, Patient Safety, OEF/OIF Committees, and MyHealtheVet Coordinator.

Mike has developed clinical and interface solutions in the public and private sectors for vendors and providers including Antrim Corporation and Kaiser Permanente. From 2002 through 2013 he consulted to the VistA Imaging Program of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. In this capacity he developed repository processing solutions to enable conversion of legacy free-text metadata to enterprise-wide controlled vocabularies. He also built IHE-conformant interfaces from the VistA health information system to commercial PACS and digital pathology systems, as well as publishing HL7 interoperability profiles for these interfaces (available at http://www.va.gov/imaging) and creating, maintaining and administering validation suites to enable solution providers to verify conformance to VA's requirements.
In cooperation with international entities including the Canada Health Infoway and the Australian Collaborative Centre for e-Health, Mike has worked to promote the conformance efforts of the major healthcare IT standards developing organizations. Mun, PhD, founding President of CEO of OSEHRA has been a research and development leader in academic environment of Georgetown University Medical Center and Virginia Tech-Arlington, Virginia. His R&D interests have been in medical imaging, PACS, informatics, telemedicine, disease management, patient centered medical home and global disease surveillance. At Georgetown he served as Associate Vice President for Special Programs responsible for development new programs and managing congressional relations. His graduate training is in computational biophysics. Following his fellowship at Radiology Department of University of Colorado Medical Center, his team built one of the first 1.5T MRI systems at Columbia University Radiology Department.
