Fabian Lopez, The VistA Extension Hub Conceptual Designer explained to participants new functionality added to The Hub. We experienced the new VistA Questions section as well as the new Learning Management System added to enhance the learning experience. Angela Loosli from Idaho shared with us her learning process, the importance of a great attitude and how she identified the fact that provider creates PERSONAL templates, she also explained how she pulls over to SHARED templates improving the use of the System.
David Howard, an experienced CAC, discussed The CAC | HIS role - Sentinel Event Review/Root Cause Analysis. He is also preparing a presentation for the upcoming meeting about Order Dialogs 1 - Overview. Jeanette Klement our vxJourney awarded presenter and experienced CAC addressed Best Practices and advice to new CAC | HIS and provided advice in how to set the right training path. Deanne Clark VistA Expert led the conversation about the purpose of the group and goals for upcoming events. We all agree that we should have at least one event per quarter so we set the date for the next one that will take place in September 30,2014 at 3 PM EST.
