Deanne Clark is the vxVistA Program Manager responsible for vxVistA application development including requirements analysis, building project plans, forming project teams, enhancements, and change control. Deanne has ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and loves the process of mapping current processes to vxVistA best practices. Deanne is excellent at serving as a bridge between technical/IT issues and challenges, configuration and development options, and clinician needs.Over the last 10 years at DSS, Deanne successfully oversaw development of multiple clinical and administrative software packages and modules as well as the integration of practice management/revenue cycle systems, medical decision support systems, laboratory systems, and medical devices within the VistA Electronic Health Records system in both the Veterans Affairs Medical Centers and commercial vxVistA installations. She works closely both with large teams and individuals to understand and analyze customer processes/regulatory requirements/specialized technical systems and communicates that understanding and analysis internally, with partner/client teams, and with the vxVistA Open Source community to create custom configurations, enhancements, and process changes over the life-cycle of each project. Her special areas of interest are in enhancing vxVistA to better serve women and pediatric patient populations.
