    First, because we believe that VistA is a national resource that we, as taxpayers, have paid for already. In 20+ years of working with the VA, we have seen how dramatically VistA has improved the quality and reduced the cost of health care in the VA system. We think that VistA can be an important tool in repairing our broken health care system. Our hope is that with our support vxVistA can overcome any barriers to adoption of health information technology.

    Second, we have many add on products for vxVistA that we would like to sell.
