5. Section IV Configuration of the VFDVFOIZ Routine

Configuration of the VFDVFOIZ Routine is necessary ONLY if your Cache instance is NOT CACHE91. Perform this routine to change your current instance name. (e.g. Cacheweb or Cache) To determine what your cache instance name is simply mouse over your cache icon, (blue cube, see image below) and the cache instance name will appear.

Right click the cache icon (blue cube, see image below) mouse over Preferred Server option to see the cache instance name you are currently running.

 

Once the upgrade is complete, continue on to the Global Mappings and Routine Mappings section (Section V step1).




In this section, the user will be prompted with default selections ending with " // ". When the user prompt has a default answer, it will be indicated by a trailing " // " You can accept the default answer by just pressing enter.
1. At the namespace prompt, type: D ^XUP, VFDVFOIZ
Press enter to continue
2. At the access code prompt
    ACCESS CODE: ADMIN123
   
3. At the Do you wish to continue? prompt type: Yes
Press enter to continue




Note: In an instance where there is not default answer, the prompt will end in either a " : " or a " ? ". When no default answer is present, you can just press enter at that particular prompt to continue. If you wish additional help at any prompt, key in " ? " and press enter to continue.


At the next prompt, you will edit the subordinate Domain Entry


At the next prompt, enter the name of your domain and press enter to accepted the defaulted prompts. In this instance, the edit option: prompt below is just an example if the user wish to edit the current option, this decision is solely up to the user, it is not necessary to continue.




Repeat the same steps to edit the Parent Domain Entry, the Parent domain entry should default to vxVista.org
At the next prompt, type YES to continue
Press enter to continue

Note: A valid primary HFS directory must exist. Below, is an example path C:\HFS\


Press enter to accept the default prompts. If you disagree with the recommended port number 9201, the option to edit your port number is the fifth prompt as shown in the image below, enter your new port number here.



Note: Editing the port number here must match the port number from the shortcut settings in Section I Setting up Directory Structures for the Executables Files, page 6.

After the configuration of the VFDVFOIZ Routine has completed, screen messages will appear with information pertaining to the site parameters. If this section is not configured correctly, error messages will appear. If this happens, the user MUST return to the beginning of this VFDVFOIZ routine, Section IV Configuration of the New VFDVFOIZ Routine and repeat the process.
