 Tom Munnecke is an independent Health IT consultant.  As a Computer Specialist at the VA Loma Linda, Tom Munnecke was one of the original Hardhats, active in the early development of FileMan, MailMan, the Kernel, the VA/DoD interface project, and Chief of Conceptual Integrity of the Underground Railroad.  At SAIC, he was active in the port of DHCP to the DoD Composite Health Care System (CHCS).  Munnecke has testified before the Senate Veteran's Affairs committee on the Future of Health IT, has been interviewed by the Pew Foundation as an "Internet Visionary",  consulted for the VA regarding its future IT architectures, and is organizer of the Underground Railroad banquets.
